Memories Burning Bright
Spoke about his Uncle John Petach who served in China under General Claire Lee Chennault Commander of the Flying Tigers – American Volunteer Group. Prior to WWII, they helped the Chinese fight Japanese aggressors. An exhibit titled Welcome home Flying Tigers was held July 27-28 2015 at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington D.C.

Wow. Danny looks just like my mom and her siblings, who were cousins to Johnnie over in McKeesport, Pa. Their father was Demitrius Petach. Mom told me about Johnnie when I was a little boy in the sixties and interested in aviation. – Jeff C.
